9. Continued and Supplementary

I want to speak more about “culture related of Taiyaki” flowing last week.

So, tail topic is “White Taiyaki”. And I want to supplement “reaction of overseas”. Because I was not able to write article only a little week 7.

So, let’s start!

First topic is “reaction overseas” s reaction.

Taiyaki not exists overseas. There are also example…Taiyaki and Yakisoba and flow-somen not exists. However, it has been recognized. It is well known.

Theses opportunity are anime and cartoon. They are Japan proud of culture. The character of appears in anime and cartoon, usually eat this food.

If foods do not exist overseas appeared in Japanese anime, the annotation is always written towards the corner.

This book name is “Cool Japan ~the world will want to buy~”. This book’s author is Tomoyuki Sugiyama. He is president of a corporation. He referred to funny things in this book.

Japan government makes Japanese anime fans in overseas to a national policy.

Anime and cartoon are more likely to be accepted unlike others. And they are including a heart and culture of Japan.

I want to go back to the beginning of the story here.

Anime and cartoon are easy to accept. It is strength.

You watched Japanese anime. At that time interesting things appeared. How it would be if that were the case?

As soon as I found out if I were you. Yes, it is a purpose.

Taiyaki is one of them.

Let me introduce one example here.

Girls high school students formed a band. And it is a school anime. This type anime is depicting them everyday.

Azusa Nakano is one of the characters in anime.

She likes Taiyaki very much. There is a scene where Azusa to eat Taiyaki. It writes to there subtitle at that time ”Do you like Taiyaki?”.

It will one trigger to know at the Japanese food.

It should be afraid of Taiyaki!

The second topic is “White Taiyaki”.

Recently, it has become less popular. However, White Taiyaki gained tremendous popular at one time.

So, this is White Taiyaki.

It can be enjoyed glutinous texture. The reason is tapioca flour have been used. It has been so white. White Taiyaki was a great popularity I just remembered. And Taiyaki shop has increased in practice. People did get off the treadmill. Many videos circulated how to make Taiyaki.

I liked White Taiyaki very much. However, I don’t look this recently. It is lonely. It had been judged to be one boom another people. But I was hoping for this. Because…it have also delicious cold and texture is very interesting.

In addition to, there is a sad fact more.

It is driven into closed Taiyaki shops one after the other. There were a lot Taiyaki shops also include stalls near my home. But now, that is left a few stores. This is the story of August. I do not know what is the current in February.

I would hope, not affected by trends.

However, I think that if it would go to the left to posterity, only delicious food.  White Taiyaki did not remnant. That is all.
